Our ancestors knew about the sacred, creative powers of the feminine and worshipped the Dark Goddess as the Source of all life.
With the rise of patriarchal religions, we were forced to separate ourselves from the Dark Feminine - at great expense to our very own life force energy, our wild feminine sexuality, our creative power.
We are afraid of the Dark. We have been taught to avoid what dwells in the depths, in the shadows, in the unknown, in the mystery.
Our patriarchal culture is male-dominated and light-orientated. We women pay a high price for being uprooted from the feminine principle.
And yet, the Dark Feminine is the medicine that our exhausted souls and bodies so desperately need.
It is the place where we women find our roots and nourishment.
The place where we reconnect with such profound power and wisdom, being re-initiated into our wholeness and our deepest, truest essence.
